How this works: Credit repair is governed by the federal Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) in all states. A small number of states go further — Georgia largely prohibits for-profit credit repair, and Oregon and South Carolina impose added restrictions. We do not offer services where prohibited. If your state is restricted, we'll still point you to what you can do yourself, for free.
